Portal Painting - Proceeds to the next floor, skipping any remaining paintings on that floor. This will not increase Fatigue if it is below 3. Restoration Painting - Resets Record Fatigue down to 3 for all characters. (Click the magnifying glass, then 'Status'.) You can view currently active buffs from within the party menu. Unused characters will retain their buffs until they are used. They are only used up if that character participates in battle. You can't combine buffs from multiple Onslaught Paintings, the first buff will take priority. Onslaught Painting - Provides a random buff for the next battle, such as increasing your stats, or increasing your SB gauges. Note that it is possible to predict the contents of the chests before opening them, by reading the incoming network data with a drop tracker. Opening the third chest requires 2 Magic Keys or 2 Mythril. Opening the second chest requires 1 Magic Key or 1 Mythril. However, the other chests may still contain useful items, such as Anima Lenses. Treasure Painting - Contains a Treasure Vault with 3 treasure chests.Įxactly one chest will contain a Hero Artifact, and the other two will not. Magic Pots are guaranteed to drop a Hero Artifact. Rarely, you may find a Magic Pot in these paintings. It's thought to be about a 75% chance of a fight and a 25% chance of treasure, unconfirmed. Opening a door will usually force you into battle, but it can occasionally be a Treasure Vault instead. Opening it will trigger a random event, choosing not to will still give you some labyrinth points.Įxamples of random events include: obtaining items like Magic Keys or Teleport Stones, raising your party's Fatigue by 2, lowering your party's Fatigue to 0, triggering an Onslaught buff, a Portal painting, or a Treasure Vault, or simply being forced into battle. If you encounter a door, you can choose to open it or not. It is possible that red paintings give better drops, but this is unconfirmed.Įxploration Painting - Contains a random special event, or a mysterious door. Note that the battle difficulty can vary between paintings, but the color of the painting has nothing to do with this actual difficulty. Red paintings obscure the enemy's identity altogether, but still tell you the battle's difficulty rating. Yellow paintings identify the enemy and its vulnerabilities, but leave out the battle tips. Green paintings show all the usual info about the enemy. These can be one of three colors: green, yellow, or red. These 3 paintings are completely random, and each type has a different effect.Ĭombatant Painting - These contain a battle with an enemy. You can also see the next two rows of painting behind the current row. On each floor, you are presented with rows of 3 paintings. Higher difficulty corridors are longer but give more rewards and better Hero Artifacts. Even within a corridor, battle difficulty varies somewhat.Ĭorridor difficulty for the first season ranges from D60~80 up to D400~500. Higher difficulty corridors will force you into fights more frequently. The number of floors, size of each floor, and overall difficulty varies for each corridor. This is the standard type of Labyrinth Dungeon.Įach corridor has multiple floors. If you have not yet reached a tile, it will be a Locked Space, locked and hidden from view.ĭungeon tiles include "Labyrinth Gateways" containing Corridors, and "Labyrinth Nexuses" containing superboss fights.Īll of this is permanent content, and will be added to with each new Season. The Starting Point for each Season is unlocked by default, and you can teleport to it at any time.īy reaching a Way Crystal, you will be able to teleport to that at any time, as well. You must be on an adjacent tile to access a dungeon. You can move to adjacent tiles, one at a time. While inside the Labyrinth Dungeons, you will see a map of different tiles.
